The fifteen candidates for Mayor and Child bearers of the Federation of Moors and Christians have starred this morning reception hosted by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, which has taken place in the Plenary Hall.
The event was attended by the Councillor for Culture, Rafael Gomez, and the president of the Federation of Moors and Christians, Alfonso Gálvez.
House has been delivered to each of the shield insignia Hall and I said a few words of welcome, trasladándoles the hope that they can "make the most of the holidays and activities that await you."
Seven women and eight girls compete to be crowned 2012 flagged the Moors and Christians.
The eight candidates are children:
- Mariola Lizán, Templar
- Mercedes Arenas, of the Order of Santiago
- Martha Benedict, of Jaime Mesnada
- Mireia Abenza, Mesnada of St. John of Jerusalem
- Tania Ruano, Santa Maria Mesnada Arrixaca
- ANERELA Murcia, Kabila Aben Mardenix
- Patricia Solbes, Ibn Arabi Kabila
- Beatriz Pascual de Riquelme, Almoravids
The largest flagship candidates are:
- Immaculate Alarcon Templar
- Mercedes Perez, of the Order of Santiago
- Begońa García, Kabila Aben Mardenix
- Cristina Moreno, Kabila Mudéjares
- Cayetana Martinez, Abderramán II
- Silvia Martinez, Ibn Arabi Kabila
- Pilar Vieites, Kabila Abu-L'Abbas
