The Catholic University of Murcia presented the award for best coach of Liga Endesa in Giants Basketball Gala held yesterday in Madrid.
The dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Pato Antonio Sanchez, presented the award to Pablo Laso, Real Madrid coach.
The event took place in the 40 Café, located on the Gran Via and was attended by prominent personalities from the world of basketball: players, coaches, managers and journalists.
Among the winners, along with Pablo Laso, highlighted Rudy Fernandez, Jose Calderon (unable to collect your prize when in Detroit), Sergio Rodriguez and Jorge Garbajosa, among others.
By the CB Murcia UCAM, attended Oscar Quintana coach, general manager and director Alejandro Gomez Jose Miguel Garrido Marketing.
The highlights were the delivery Garbajosa Giant Legend Award, by the journalist José María García, recognition for Manel Comas, who could not attend for health reasons, and the Special Prize for Sergio Luyk In Memoriam, collected by her father, Clifford Luyk, who closed the event.
