The school has received the Salinas Torre Equality in Sport Award for promoting sports activities among female students.
In this center, 73% of the students enrolled in the program of the School Sport Sports Department.
This award is given to schools that promote the principle of equality of opportunity and treatment in sports in general and specifically among students, as a consolidation of the principles of equality and non-discrimination in the future.
The school principal, Alfonso Zambudio, PE teachers, Lidia and Alberto Martinez Garcia Egea Abellán, and a group of students have received at the hands of the Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, sports equipment for center worth 500 euros, donated by Cajamar.
At the official ceremony to mark the International Women's Day, to be held tomorrow, will be delivered to school award 'Murcia Equality', to be exhibited in a conspicuous place in the school; certificate of recognition to teachers of Physical Education and a certificate of award of the school.
With this certificate the college will get more score in the competition to calls for grants for the same purpose the calling from the city of Murcia.
