The Councillor for Equality Policies, Alicia Barquero, today opened the photo exhibition to promote gender equality, they have done Art Photography students from the School of Art on the occasion of International Women's Day.
34 photographs seek to sensitize society on gender equality.
Authors who are exposed: Claudia Alonso, Francisco Antonio Love, Patricia Caamano, Ana Isabel Campoy, Maria Caparros Maria Castejón, Andrés García, Cristina Gómez, Julián Felipe Hernandez, Maria Dolores Molina, Jose Manuel Montes, Paul Morcillo, Carmen Munoz, Laura Navarro, Maria Navarro, Maria Cristina Olmos, Noelia couple, Maria Asuncion Perez, Alejandra Patricia Romera, Noelia Sabater, Alicia Sanchez, Maria Isabel Sánchez, María Shovren, Julia Torrente and Alejandro Yanez.
The exhibition is coordinated by teachers Artistic Photography Art School Caravaca Ana Ruth, Jesus Sanchez-Pantoja Francisco.
Winners are photographic material, with the first prize and Maria Cristina Gomez Otálora Navarros Palacios.
The second award was for Ana Isabel Campoy and Felipe Julián Hernández Martínez Saura.
And two runners to Shovren, Maria and Pablo Gonzalez Morcillo.
The City Council held a photo contest among first-year students of the Training Cycle Higher Grade Art Photography on gender equality.
25 students participated with 124 photographs.
Of all the jobs, we have selected 34 that are exposed from today until March 15 at the Civic Center of El Carmen, in times of 11.00 to 13.30, and from 17.00 to 20.30, Monday to Friday.
The chosen images will be used to illustrate the web Murcia Equality Policy of the Department of Equality and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia.
The jury was chaired by Councilwoman Alicia Barquero, and teachers trained by Artistic Photography Art School Caravaca Ana Ruth, Jesus of Francisco Sanchez-Pantoja and Monica Lozano.
Since 2002 the City Council and the School of Art collaborate in designing campaigns to raise awareness about equality.
This project aims to inform, sensitize and educate the students of the School of gender equality and the prevention and eradication of violence against women, by conducting practical work on a subject of your resume, photography.
This practical work, in turn, is embodied in a public awareness campaign on gender equality.
This time, the project aims to show equality between women and men, in different contexts, situations and positions, spanning all ages, cultures and races under the banner equality in diversity.
