Teatro Circo morning Murcia presents "Last Battle in Pardo", third reading dramatized (25/02/2013)

In order to project the citizens in Murcia, Murcia Circus Theatre, in collaboration with the Union of Actors of the Region of Murcia and the School of Drama, is launching a new reading dramatized Theatre in the cycle time.

With thematic readings tables intends to work that is relevant to current issues.

After Twelve Angry Men and Right to die, now it's the turn of "last battle in the Pardo", a work of José María Rodríguez Méndez, Realistic belonging to Generation, which covered a large hole in the decade of the 50 and 60, according to noted this morning at the press conference the director of Teatro Circo Murcia, César Oliva.

Oliva also stressed that Rodriguez Mendez is one of the authors "almost forgotten", died about three years ago now, and carried out important work of recovering the social and political consciousness of the time.

The work, which has never been represented, presents a dialogue between two characters: victor and vanquished, two profiles corresponding to the same people and that, although not clearly spelled out, represent the dictator Franco.

It was directed by actor and director, Alfredo Zamora, and performed by Paco Navarrete and Manuel Reyes.

The staged reading will take place on Tuesday, February 26, at 19 pm.

Access is free, but you must pick up the invitation in Murcia Circus Theatre box office.

The press conference was also attended by the director of the ESAD, Juan Angel Masegoso, and President of the Union of Actors in the Region of Murcia, Salvador Serrano.
