Firefighters of the City of Murcia, through trade unions represented in the council, SIME, CCOO, UGT and CSIF SPLRM-ATABAM, have decided to not participate in the eviction orders, as they believe that the fire department is at the service of citizens, to lend their assistance in emergency situations, and that such circumstances do not fall within its scope.

In addition, the firefighters of the City of Murcia want to show their full support for the action taken by the companions of Corunna, and join the rest of colleagues from other communities such as Galicia, Madrid, Catalonia and Valencia.

While, so far, firefighters have not been required Murcia for any such action, nor intend to participate in them in any case.
