The School of Art collaborates once again with the city of Murcia with the participation of students in a competition on gender equality.
This is an activity in which students have participated in the first year of upper Artistic Photography in order to make a photo campaign to raise public awareness on gender equality.
26 students participated with 124 photographs.
Of all the jobs, 33 will be selected to be exhibited from March 4 at the Civic Center of El Carmen, and will be used to illustrate the web Murcia Equality Policy of the Department of Equality and Development Cooperation Murcia City Hall.
In addition, four winners will be chosen to get as prizes photography related material.
The jury, chaired by Councilwoman Alicia Barquero, met this morning to select the works of students.
They are part of the jury teachers Artistic Photography Art School Caravaca Ana Ruth, Jesus Sanchez and Monica Lozano Francisco.
Since 2002 the City Council and the School of Art collaborate in designing campaigns to raise awareness about equality.
