Twenty years have passed since Murcia launched the first projects of cooperation with the Saharawi people.

From 1993 until today, the actions have been directed mainly to the construction and maintenance of wells and peaceful holiday program for children.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by the Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, received this morning the Minister of Cooperation of the SADR, Brahim Mukhtar, who is visiting the region, and the Delegate Sahrawi in Murcia, Labat Mohamed Mustafa, whom has reviewed the plans for development cooperation carried out by the municipality of Murcia.
