The Friends of the Botanical Garden has made this weekend a plantation in the parterre released by the Department of Environment in the garden of the Malecon.
Specifically, and to show their support for the bid to be the Sierras de Murcia biosphere reserve, is complete collection of shrubs that can be seen in the country Owl, with copies of white jara, jara sticky, myrtle , and other shrubs provided by the Valley Nursery.
In this plantation Scout Groups have collaborated Mohowa of La Alberca, Santa Maria de Gracia, the Beavers del Carmen and a scout group from Germany, along with the Friends of the Botanical Garden of Murcia and volunteers of the Green Office of University of Murcia.
Copies have also been planted coastal flora provided by Anse, with species like sabina mora, Teucrium dunense and hogweed, completing the collection of flora coast region.
These recovery activities will be further developed garden on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 13 hours.
