The Department of Traffic and Transportation will schedule tram adapt to the needs of its passengers.
The Governing Board today approved the Plan of Operation Tram Line 1 in Murcia, which is the result of quality surveys being carried out to users since the launch of this line and collecting petitions and tips thereof.
Thus, the service is to adapt to the current demand, adjusting frequencies and implementing an hour hour segment on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays, without causing decline in service, streamlining the delivery of the same.
The most significant change is that the weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday eves) extending the hours until midnight.
Thus, the last service from New Condomina currently departing at 23 hours will do at 24 hours so all the way the last convoy will spend one hour later than at present.
Similarly the peak period will last until 2130 hours on weekdays, Saturdays and holidays with malls opening, while on Sundays and holidays begin earlier, at 10 am.
As a result and in certain peak hours, as from 7.30 to 9.30 pm and will eventually reach a frequency of up to seven minutes.
