What we know and do not know Spanish emigration?, Subject of a conference at the University of Murcia (13/02/2013)

The professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona Recaño Joaquin Valverde, will deliver tomorrow, Thursday, February 14, a conference entitled "Myths and Realities of the recent Spanish emigration: What do we know, how ignorant and what we imagine?".

The conference will be held at 19 am in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts, Campus de la Merced, and will be broadcast live on tv.um.es / direct.

Recaño Valverde is a geographer and demographer, and specializes in internal and international migration and historical demography.

Currently investigates the business cycle turning transformations and migrations in Spain theme addressing in his lecture.

The event is organized by the Debating Hall of the University of Murcia, Network Murcia Family Studies, and Family Seminar and Power Elite, and will be presented by Francisco Chacon Jimenez, Professor of Modern History at the University of Murcia .
