With the presence of representatives (vice presidents or directors of Quality) of 65 Spanish universities was held on January 30 at the University of Barcelona's Constitution Subcommittee on Quality of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE).
At the ceremony was chosen as chief justice Antonio Lopez Cabanes (Deputy Rector for Quality at the University of Murcia), whose intervention outlined the background to the creation of this Subcommittee.
As functions of the Sub-Lopez Cabanes propusoanalizar activities in quality universities develop integrated within the CRUE, sharing experiences on the different processes of quality management carried out to help improve them, while look for the continued promotion of cooperation in these matters.
The Subcommittee will advise principals and general CRUE before their participation in meetings (courses, College Board, etc..) And other forums, and propose to the Assembly of the Conference views and needs of the universities on issues involving quality specific positions of educational institutions at different agencies, as cited anteriormente.Asimismo will constitute a test of quality activities in college, both arising from external bodies (Ministry, quality agencies, etc.), as the universities themselves, while promoting working groups to study specific issues and priorities.
Finally, encourage cooperation between universities by sharing experiences on the various processes related to quality management (qualifications, faculty, services, etc..).
