IU-Greens has reported today that the PP in the neighborhood district board Infante Don Juan Manuel, in Murcia, has again rejected a motion by the formation of the Left to demand a statement in defense of the underground train tracks passing through the town.
The motion, which has been endorsed by the members of PSOE and UPyD, proposed that the Board issue an statement urging the mayor to fulfill the commitments agreed by the council, which determines the priority of the underground defend against any other infrastructure project.
According IU-Greens, the proposal comes at a critical time in terms of the aspirations of the residents of the south of the city to see underground route, as a recent draft interim AVE station outside the village could mean the final shelved the burial plan.
