The Vice President of Finance and Infrastructure at the University of Murcia has made in the last two years a series of investments in its facilities for the removal of architectural barriers and to serve well the needs of people with disabilities.
Some of the improvements made have included the adaptation of toilets, covered pavilion university building "C", and the acquisition of special height tables for wheelchairs in the North Classroom Building.
Others have been the installation of a special chair in the university pool, ramps at the entrances of buildings and parking, special alarm buttons to aid emergency evacuation, access ramps to the platforms of classroom blocks and teachers in some schools and adaptation Grandstand viewers in the paddle.
