The socialist mayor José Zapata welcomed the silence with which the PP is acting at City Hall with the theme of burial.
An attitude "unjustified and unfair" considering that last November, the Corporation adopted a unanimous agreement in favor of burying the railway tracks passing through the city of Murcia.
Zapata claims that since the signing of the agreement, the city not only PP has not provided any information on the procedures being carried out on this issue, but has not even responded to questions and requests to be raised in writing.
"We fear that the municipal government is more inclined to favor the PP party interests at the regional and national levels of their own citizens," he laments.
Therefore, the PSOE mayor will defend in Parliament on Thursday a motion that the City Council that addresses written to the Ministry of Public Works and ADIF for voided, and the suspension of the competition for the award for the drafting of Surface integration AVE in Murcia.
Zapata also asked to undergo plenary approval in the location that is going to propose to Public Works for the installation of the station for the arrival of the AVE and the money for its construction is minimal so that investment is directed mostly at underground works.
Finally, the PSOE councilor also regrets the attitude of the president of the CARM, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, following his meeting with the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, is a clear uncheck the agreement signed by the three governments in 2006.
Socialists do not believe that the underground works are magically doubled in recent years, rising from 192 to 415 million euros, as demand for public works has plummeted.
