The National Police dismantled a group dedicated to the theft of tropical birds (28/01/2013)

29 birds have been recovered from the parrot species and 6 agaporny Kramer

National Police agents have broken up an alleged group dedicated to theft of tropical birds.

The bird houses were stolen in the garden of Murcia and later sell them over the Internet.

Have recovered 29 birds parrot species and 6 agaporny Kramer.

The investigation began earlier this month, after they have news by the police of the theft of 140 birds, parrot species Kramer, a Aljucer housing.

Internet Ads brought to the authors

The investigation led officers to some Internet ads that are similar to those offered stolen birds, so they tracked down the person responsible for the property and the location of some of the birds were stolen.

After stopping the person who sold the stolen birds, it was learned that it had bought the birds to other individuals, and these in turn to others, considered by researchers as the perpetrators of the robbery.

Undertaken research impute two other robberies in the past year to the detainees.

In them, seized a red-tailed gray parrot and nearly 90 species of birds agaporny.

5 arrested related to the case

In total, five people have been arrested related thereto, all Spanish and adults.

Two are perpetrators of the robbery, two are intermediaries and the fifth is the final seller of stolen birds.

They have managed to recover a total of 29 parrots agaporny Kramer and 6, which have been returned to their owners.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the district police station of El Carmen.
