This morning, the Bureau has met Accessibility, chaired by Alderman and technical participation Aspampal, FAMDIF, Feaps, ONCE and Aspaym and municipal technicians.
The Bureau is working on the Accessibility Guide, a document which provides guidelines to be applied in buildings, public roads, etc..
to be accessible for all types of disabilities.
It is intended that all Council services are coordinated and meet guidelines on accessibility.
This morning we have studied the first block of the Guide, which includes the accessibility in public spaces urbanized with paragraphs as pedestrian routes, squares, parks, gardens and open spaces for public use urban spaces for public use , elements of urbanization on pedestrian routes (fords, crosswalks, sidewalk location / road, traffic islands, pavements, overpasses and subways, stairs, ramps, handrails and railings and fences permanent) furniture (location, traffic lights, telephones, boxes, bins, public seating, desks / windows, bollards, bus stops, vending machines, information boards, drinking fountains, waste collection containers and kiosks), parking, and signage protection works on public roads, ditches, containers, scaffolding, exterior lighting, signage and information in urban spaces, public toilets outside and bike lanes.
