The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light to the proposed draft amendment to financial controls, in Regulating the Use Rate Special or Private Use of Public Roads with stalls and booths.
This change, which will establish a rate reduction in the number of inhabitants of the district in which the market develops, is a reduction of the rate that the City of Murcia sets to help promote economic activity in the municipality; and in addition to other bonuses that the government team has been developing as dynamization measures.
The amendment is as follows:
- Those districts with a population of between 0 and 5,000, the rate will be 6 euros linear.
This section will hamlets such as: The Albatalía, The Arboleja, Cañada Hermosa, tall, Javalí Old, New Javalí, Puebla de Soto, The Ranero, Santa Cruz, Zeneta, San Ginés, San Jose de la Vega, etc..
- The districts with a population between 5,000 and 10,000 people will rate at 8 euros linear.
In this section are districts such as Algezares, Aljucer, Churra, Stables, The Garres, El Raal, the Prop, Torreagüera, Holy Angel, Zarandona, etc.
- In the districts with a population between 10,000 and 25,000, the rate is 10 euros linear.
The districts that are in this section are: La Alberca, Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres, Espinardo, El Palmar, Bacons Bridge and Sangonera la Verde.
- In the case of markets of Fame and Santa María de Gracia the rate will be set at 12 euros linear.
Currently, the city of Murcia has granted a total of 1,600 licenses for the occupation of public space, and is scheduled to return to get a new competition for the award of posts of different types.
In this sense, the last year for this system were granted a total of 353 licenses for free Bacchae.
