The study of the hydraulic heritage and culture of water in the Mediterranean has been the subject of study of the work that teachers have coordinated the University of Murcia and José María Gómez Rosa Maria Hervas Espin.

The book contains works of the coordinators and other experts on the culture of the ditch, water management in Murcia, the Tagus-Segura and driving uptake and water in semi-arid environments.

Other studies analyzed the garden of Murcia, location factors associated with water heritage in the region and research in Spain on the feedback systems and conducting horizontal well.

The work has been published by the Seneca Foundation, the Campus Mare Nostrum and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development.
