The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, presided this morning the awards to the winners of Painting Competition II senior centers of Murcia.

House has been accompanied by the Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, and President of the Federation of Senior Citizens Centres Township, Simon Párraga.

The works submitted to the contest, organized under the slogan "Seniors also painted" have been seen since last December 21 to today in the showroom doors Castilla Center.

The exhibition brought together 36 works of 15 Centres for the Elderly, namely San Miguel, La Arboleja, The Albatalía, Beniaján, Infante Juan Manuel, La Alberca, Cabezo de Torres, San Juan / Santa Eulalia, Corvera, St. Pius X, Santiago and Zaraiche, the Prop, Rincón de Seca, Fleet and Stables.

The winners were:

1.

Antoñita Romero Castillo, with the play "My garden", the center of San Miguel.

2.

Espinosa Antonia Saura, with "Glorieta de Spain," El Puntal.

3.

Juan Ramon Sanchez, "Still Life" by St. Pius X.

4.

Peñalver Angeles Gomez, with "The alzabara" Corvera.

5.

Francisco Sanchez Tornel, with "Patio Murcia", La Arboleja.

6.

Espinosa Antonia Saura, with "Guggenheim Museum", Santa Eulalia.

In addition, two runners were delivered to Encarna Alonso Leal, "Calle 57" Beniaján, and Mariano Zapata, with "The wheel Sewer", the center of the fleet.
