Fourteen residents of the neighborhood council housing Infant participate in a course of basic DIY maintenance of buildings, offering the Department of Planning and Housing, in collaboration with the Councils of Social Welfare and Health, and Employment, Trade and Business .
These are classes where you learn carpentry, electrical, masonry and basic household plumbing, and painting and locksmith.
The goal is to improve the training of these people to learn to care for their homes, while they gain skills to enter the labor market as a janitor or building maintenance.
Also participate in a training module for coexistence and conflict resolution among neighbors.
The alumos have attended today the presentation of the course, to be held from January 21 to March 20, with a duration of 48 hours.
They have been given a bag with protective material for practical work as goggles and gloves.
