The Councillor for Sports, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, has participated in the awards ceremony of the 20th edition of the competition Municipal Creajoven.
In total, 32 young people have been awarded, collectives and groups in the categories of Metal, Drink, Performing Arts, Pop-Rock, Singer Songwriters, Photography, Visual Arts, Comics, shorts and documentaries, Visual Arts and Literature.
1,500 young people, aged between 16 and 30 years, were presented to the contest with their works and proposals, and over 15,000 people have attended the exhibitions, concerts and performances that have been carried out in the different phases of competition Creajoven.
The gala began with the inauguration of the painting exhibition '20 Years / 20 Works', a retrospective with a selection of top prizes during these 20 years, who testifies to a generation of artists who started his career in the Creajoven .
It features works by Bartolomé Balsalobre, Miguel Fructuoso, Pedro Guirao, Claudio Aldaz, Manuel Pérez, Ana Martinez, Zambudio, Paul Lambertos, Pedro Noguera, Kike Sanchez, Laura Tortosa, Juan Jose Martinez, Paco Ruiz and Elena Lopez.
Later, the groups awarded in Performing Arts have made a performance, under the direction and coordination of Pepe Galera and Rocio Bernal (Cía. Deconné / 1st prize Performing Arts) and group participation Imperdibles Theatre (3rd prize Performing Arts) , starring Maria Ortiz, Javier Hernandez, Oscar Albert, Andrea Saiz and Pepe Galera.
Then it has opened the exhibition of winning works in the arts of shorts and documentaries, Visual Arts, Visual Arts, Photography and Comics, and the prizes have been delivered.
The presenter of the show was the journalist Luis Alcazar.
All exhibits can be visited in space Mills River-Horse, until 26 January.
