A job involving a professor at the University of Murcia wins a prize of Medicine and School Health (30/11/2012)

One study, in which Juan José Gascón has participated Canovas, professor of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Murcia, won the award for best paper presented at the XX International Congress of Medicine and Health School and University, which was held this month in Cadiz.

The study, "Prevalence, ethnic variation and sociodemographic factors related to obesity and overweight in a multiethnic town of South" was presented, along with Gascón, Cózar by Antonio Fernandez, Beatriz López Olmo, Juan Enrique Pereñíguez Barranco (Professor associate at the University of Murcia) and Amparo Gil Carazo (PhD student of the Faculty of Medicine).

The conference was organized by the American Association of Medical School and University Health and the Spanish Association of Medical School and University and the Andalusian Federation of Medical School, on the occasion of the Bicentennial of the Constitution of Cadiz of 1812, the first to consider the rights of childhood.
