The Campus of Excellence Mare Nostrum (CMN) cooperate with the University of Klaipeda (Lithuania) on marine biology and marine ecosystems, as agreed at a meeting of the Vice Chancellors of Research, University of Murcia and the Lithuanian institution, Gaspar Ros and Professor Inga Dailidiene, respectivamente.Asimismo, and Lithuanian University found in a process of forming its own Campus of Excellence, the CMN project, which developed the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic, serve as a model for Lithuanian implementation in the country.
The campus intends to focus its centers of excellence in everything related to marine biology, and the document to be signed will enable joint working between research groups CMN and that country.
The meeting was sponsored by the professor of the Faculty of Biology of the University of Murcia and expert on marine ecosystems Ruzafa Angel Perez.
The meeting also featured the general coordinator of the CMN, Pascual Pérez-Paredes, among others.
