The study of the mobile content ecosystem, with its actors, lines of evolution and disruption factors has been the subject of study of the thesis that Homet Castellet Andreu has done in the School of Communication and Information Studies, University of Murcia.
This research indicates that mobile content is the big news of the digital world in the XXI century and the development of networks and terminals ubiquitous connectivity has driven in large sections of the global population.
The author of the thesis says that "the big push has come from the emergence of complex ecosystems of content and applications promoted by technology platforms."
The study analyzes the activity of the members of the value chain of mobile content such as content creators, terminal suppliers, network operators, OS vendors, regulators, and other users.
The dissertation was supervised by professors Inmaculada Martínez Martínez and Juan José Miguel Aguado Lump.
