Administrative Law Professor Ramón Martín Mateo will be sworn tomorrow, Wednesday, November 28, Honorary Doctor of the University of Murcia, in a solemn ceremony, beginning at 12:00 pm in the lounge of degrees of Law School, Merced campus.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, direct the endowment session, where Professor Antonio Martínez Marín intervene as a sponsor and Juan José Díez Sánchez, professor of administrative law at the University of Alicante, will accompany the new doctor and act in his name inaugural address to the faculty of doctors Murcia educational institution.
Rector of the universities of the Basque Country (1976-1979) and Alicante (1986-1994), where he served as Professor of Administrative Law until his retirement, Ramón Martín Mateo has released a total of 42 books, most notably his "Manual Administrative Law ", which reached the 29 editions, and, above all, the four volumes of" Environmental Law Treaty ", which earned him the title of" father "Environmental Law in Spain.
Among the positions he has held include, among others, the United Nations expert in projects in Venezuela, a member of the National Commission for the Preparation of the Medicines Act, Director of the Institute of Water and Environmental Sciences or Elective vowel State Council.
