The association ALUM (Students of Arts at the University of Murcia) has held a meeting with the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, to show the prize in the national competition Junior Company, organized by CEJE, and to inform program Activities scheduled for this school year.
During the meeting have been discussed various issues related to the University of Murcia and addressed some aspects concerning university policy being carried out by the team rector.
Among the projects that the executive has shown the rector ALUM emphasizes "ALUM service training" that the entity has implemented this academic year.
This service consists of the specialized courses in the field of Literature (this course focuses on language training), affordable student's pocket, and with a goal and both formative and college spirit.
ALUM President Joaquin Lara, stressed that "another year and making this a habit, the rector Cobacho has opened its doors to students in the Faculty of Arts, noting its proximity to the university students. As President of the association, I must say that since the founding of ALUM in 2009, this team has shown rectory constant and uninterrupted support to our organization, and we've always gone to the home of Chancellor we felt protected and supported. "
For his part, Vice President of ALUM, Eric van Hout, added that "in order to carry out projects and initiatives that the institutions necessary to support you and you bring your own point of view, and from ALUM have always felt that support by team led by José Antonio Cobacho. We are in a difficult time for college students and that is why we need our initiatives are taken into account. "
The meeting was also attended by the Vice President for Student and Employment, Mary Isabel Sánchez-Mora, the rector of Coordination and Communication, María Ángeles Esteban and student coordinator, Francisco Antonio González.
