The Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, attended the talk 'Women, Disability and Violence' organized by the Regional Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users, Thader, in collaboration with the city of Murcia, Autonomous Community, ONCE and Thader consumption.
This is to make known the reality of disabled women who are afraid to denounce their abusers and are not seen as victims of violence because they see their situation as usual and associated disability.
The round table was attended by the Regional Representative and partner Ana Guijarron Thader honor, the Senior Judge of Violence on Women in Murcia, Gloria Virginia Bowler, lawyer, teacher and representative ONCE UNED María José Sánchez Crespo, the Sofia ASPAYM responsible Balsalobre and psychologist Laura Miñano CAVI-Murcia.
He has been moderated by the lawyer and secretary Thader, María Jesús Sánchez Recio.
This activity is part of the planned by the City on the occasion of the celebration, the 25th of November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
