The councilors of the Treasury, Isabel Martínez Conesa, and Employment, Trade and Enterprise, Jose María Tortosa, participate tomorrow in the day that is celebrated in the Local Development Agency on "Lessons and options for an integrated European approach on Social Responsibility Business "as part of the project that makes the city of Murcia with the Community Development Institute (CDI) Corporate Social Responsibility financed by the European Union.
The project, called LOIEs (Lessons and options for an integrated European Approach to CSR), also involved public and private organizations from Bulgaria and Italy and aims to encourage SMEs in the introduction and implementation of the principles and practices of corporate social responsibility (CSR) encouraging dialogue between them and non-profit entities, as a lever to influence the behavior of companies towards the adoption of strategies for long-term competitiveness in a global market.
The seminar will begin at 9:15, with the opening of the councilor in charge of Employment, Trade and Business, José María Tortosa, and President of the Institute of Community Development, José Molero.
At 10, the Deputy Mayor of Finance, Isabel Martínez Conesa, give the first lecture, entitled "Corporate Social Responsibility for SMEs in Murcia in times of crisis."
Later, the director of the department of Corporate Social Responsibility at the University of Murcia, Longinus Marin, will discuss "benefits and advantages of CSR".
Intervene also the managing director of Aguas de Murcia, José Albaladejo, to expose the company's expertise in CSR.
Since 1130 will be the turn of the Italian Elena Aurora Ferrara, who made an introduction to the European project LOIEs.
