The Department of Employment, Trade and Business devote much of their efforts in 2013 to implement the Municipal Initiatives Center, to improve accessibility in the streets of El Carmen and supplies Saavedra Fajardo, and build a center for creation and production arts and culture in the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit
The most important effort of the Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise for next year will be dedicated to training new entrepreneurs and existing support in order to promote job creation in the town.
The council led by José María Tortosa handled a total budget of 10,578,155 euros, representing a 7.42% increase on the previous year.
The main novelty of the trade area is the beginning of all activity in Municipal Initiatives Center, located on Highway Churra, and which will provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs and companies begin their journey in the town, with the ultimate aim of promoting economic development and the creation of stable employment in the municipality of Murcia.
This will go some 500,000 euros.
In this comprehensive and innovative infrastructure of about 1,400 square meters, will offer various services:
- Preincubation (advice and support) for business ideas that have not yet been constituted as a company.
- Incubation, facilitating the creation of companies, providing physical shelter (being rented offices at very affordable) and offering certain common services to reduce as far as possible, the difficulties that a new company should take to consolidate their business project.
In addition, the center will be carried out other actions as exploration of niche markets for new sources of employment, study the possibilities of exploiting the area's resources to establish potential business developments or tourist level ensalzarlos or resource prospecting in the various districts, after meetings with the social partners and associations, to determine possible actions or the needs demanded.
Moreover, thanks to a collaboration with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Murcia, will develop various initiatives:
- Program senior consultants for advice to entrepreneurs: Performance projects consultancy voluntarily by people with extensive business experience, mostly retirees or early retirement.
Projects will be selected to be evaluated by the consultant and will issue a report on the same reference that demonstrates to young entrepreneurs.
- European Network of municipal initiatives: Strategy for inclusion in the municipality in European networks of entrepreneurial initiatives in order to be part of intelligent networks that enable service centers to support business development of the municipality as investment planning tool in other territories outside our country.
- Emprendemóvil: Study and exploration opportunities 'entrepreneurship' in the field of Murcia which aims to enable and stimulate entrepreneurship in the area by taking advantage of the business potential niche derivatives of a communication link beyond its primary activity.
- Catalogue of Foreign Investment Enterprise: Directed to provide the information necessary for any entrepreneur who wants to settle in the town know the necessary procedures and market niches in which to invest.
Other proposals for facilitating employment
As for the Workshop School Program in 2013 will launch a Training Workshop for 40 students.

In relation to trade and Squares Abastos and following the line started in 2012, the budget will be characterized by the optimization of the various budget provided for both services and their coordination to avoid duplication of items and expenses.
In places of supplies, maintaining budgetary allocations for the current expenditures that maintain existing services, especially with respect to maintenance and security.
Unlike previous years has increased investment, adopting a general heading for the rehabilitation and improvement of these municipal buildings of 400,000 euros.
The intention is that the work done will be agreed with the presidents of the squares of supplies but one of the main activities is to improve accessibility both in Plaza del Carmen and Saavedra Fajardo.
In the area of ​​trade, worth noting that slightly increased budget allocations that allow continuing the strategic business plan, especially with regard to the revitalization of the brand MUAC (Murcia Commercial Area) and continue performing traditional events Fair as Outlet and others that promote the business in all neighborhoods and districts of the city.
Note that it has adopted an investment item in Business Planning for 200,000 euros in order to improve the shopping environment of Murcia and districts in which local trade develops.

In coordination with the European Programmes, will develop the following projects that impact directly on trade:
- Tool support for localization: An instrument that will be launched soon for the development of business feasibility plans for trade.
This will allow citizens to obtain information about a business establishment in a particular area, which is a dual purpose: energize traditional stores and as tools for advice on entrepreneurship.
Thus, any application can access a web page where entrepreneurs can learn what area is best to start your business (people, other businesses ...) while consumers may know what is the best area to purchase the products that interest them.
- Directory of digital commercial establishments.
Directory created to internationalize Murcia companies destined to the European market.
Orientation will target entrepreneurs because it allows searches for areas that report the number of establishments in a sector that exist in them and support elements generated with indicators like public transport lines, occupancy levels of parking, aspects linked with mobility, public facilities ... also the idea of ​​'Murcia, European market' will be aimed at companies that have their own website or use e-commerce to boost sales of their products or services abroad.
- Eurocommerce: Creating networks of trust, solidarity, reciprocity and collaboration with traditional commerce promoting a commercial action which include mechanisms for overcoming potential threats and weaknesses.
Serve to advise and give support businesses with different campaigns, among other actions
Finally, in the area of ​​European programs, will continue to run the Urban Project in the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit.
This will go over 600,000 euros, of which 240,000 are outstanding that will serve to build the center of creation and production of art and culture, extending 30,000 for street lighting, containers and bury 28,000 for another 28,000 to adapt and remodel solar they will become places to carry out various activities selected by the neighbors
On the other hand it will launch the European mobility plan for training and employment which aims to provide information, advice and recruitment (job) workers, students and entrepreneurs as well as any citizen, want to benefit from the principle of free movement of persons in Europe.
The aim is to facilitate citizens' access to both European training initiatives, as the job in the whole of Europe.
