This weekend, the Department of Environment reproposes different environmental experiences and fun environments both urban and natural environment of the municipality.
All program activities are aimed at promoting knowledge about the local environment, understanding their values ​​and conservation needs and participation in continuous improvement, in a playful and dynamic context.
On Saturday, from 12 to 14 hours, the Urban Ecology Classroom Diverde has organized "games to enjoy and discover the Garden of silk".
The Murcia will visit another great green lungs of the city, with lots of history and lots of nature.
Its name refers to this enclave is located in the nineteenth century silk factory, which operated until the mid twentieth century.
After it was demolished, leaving this activity witnessed a fireplace.
Instead it opened in 1990 a large garden, which many native species were introduced from different natural environments.
Through games and activities simple and fun we will come to know the corners, trees and shrubs, urban wildlife and other secrets of this fantastic garden.
Participation in this event is free, open to public child, youth and adult, and requires no registration.
The meeting point is at 12 noon on the side of Calle San Anton, next to the fireplace in the Silk.
Also on Saturday, November 17 will be held the seminar "Mediterranean Forests Mushrooms: learn to look for them, recognize them and protect them" from 10 to 17 hours
The autumn rains ensure good mushroom season in the Majal Blanco also: are in all their glory.
This seminar will combine theory with field trips and workshop activities, which can be known much of mycological diversity Municipal Park, their contribution to the functioning of the forest, and its possible uses and applications.
It provided a small taste of mushrooms, which hopefully will be increased with edible species to locate during the ride, counting with the years experience draftsman Fernando Sanchez, a biologist at the subject of the seminar and teaching activities .
The meeting point is at 10 am in the Plaza de Las Moreras (Private Torreguil).

On Sunday November 18th there will be the "bus route in the corners of the Vega Media", 10 to 17 hours.
The Vega Media del Segura is a great unknown, so for the proposed tour to know more of their history, their heritage and landscapes, water-related and traditional uses of the garden.
The tour includes visits to various sites of interest related to traditional activities (agriculture, preserves) and contemporary area and rides little difficulty.

The bus will depart at 10 am from the Glorieta de Spain.

In addition, like all weekends and holidays, is open the Point White Majal Environmental Information, which will cater to visitors who come to the Plaza de las Moreras (Private Torreguil) and the Municipal Forest Park environment in times of 9.30 to 14.30 h.
From the square of the number of short journeys depart Moreras (PR) marked by the city of Murcia in collaboration with the Committee Hiking Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia, so many visitors requesting information for practicing hiking autonomously in the area.
