The unions represented in the city of Murcia SIME-ATABAM SPLRM, CCOO, UGT and CSIF have performed a concentration at 11 am at the door of the new building to denounce the precarious urban and shortcomings of the new headquarters in prevention of occupational hazards.
On the occasion of the visit of the Health and Safety Committee of the City of Murcia, and the motto 'If you go to Ibn cArabi, put your helmet', is installed, from 9 in the morning, the mobile office information to citizens, to warn users of the risks dependencies suffering when making their case.
Among the many dangers of the building included the possibility of falling into the void, as there are gaps and sliding doors without protection and evacuation problems in case of fire, as there is a total lack of an evacuation plan also signaling the absence of escape routes and fire extinguishers.
Unions already presented last November 6 complaint against the City before the General Inspectorate of Labour and Social Security for the serious deficiencies in the building Ibn cArabi or new urbanism, where the City would combine various municipal services and where already working more than one hundred workers / as.
