The University of Murcia today launched the second phase of the application to the different networks interrelate in research groups CEI Mare Nostrum (CMN), a project that shares with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
This web application can register CMN research groups (from universities and entities added to CMN), formally constituted or "ex novo" in any of the four priority areas of the Campus of Excellence: based bioeconomy in agri-food, quality of life and health technologies, Mediterranean Sea and Sea naval technologies and Euro-Mediterranean innovation and research.
Research groups with lines interrelated study will be divided into nodes, which will then be restructured into networks of expertise that will facilitate the dissemination of research offer.
In the first phase of implementation have added 123 groups in 24 nodes and 4 networks, which have led to 219 technology offerings.
During the presentation ceremony, which was held in the building of Convalescence assistance from Gaspar Ros and Pablo Fernandez, vice Research at the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, respectively, announced the celebration of 26 CMN Day November for the dissemination of the offer and the transfer of research results in the Mediterranean.
This international event, to be held at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, researchers CMN group will present their technology offerings and projects in which they work that could be exported to other countries.
Also participating in investigator responsible governments of Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria and Spain.
