The Municipal Socialist Party councilor Susana Hernandez recalls that the PP denied in Parliament last October the existence of cuts in medical transport for cancer patients during the debate on the motion presented by the PSOE in urging the City Council to take action against this new deterioration of the quality of care.
The socialist mayor with this motion requesting that the municipal corporation would express their opposition to the cuts that have caused the ambulance now be made solely on the basis of medical reasons make it impossible to shift the patient on their own or public transport, being medical transportation only for extreme medical cases, regardless of the socioeconomic status of each patient.
"Once again the weather puts everyone in place," said Hernandez, who, in this sense, reminded the council of Health, Maruja Pelegrin, his ignorance of the health status of Murcia when during the plenary held last October that there was not a single citizen who needed the ambulance and not have it.
"Pelegrin should follow his own advice, get out of the office more and scroll to the hospitals and health centers to know the reality of public health, increasingly threatened by cuts in PP", ends the socialist mayor.
