A training tool by students of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia (ALUM) is the winning project in the region of the National Competition for the Creation of Junior Enterprises.
The president and vice president of ALUM, students of English Joaquín Sánchez Lara and Erik Teun Van Hout, received at the headquarters of the Rector of the University of Murcia the diploma project inspired by, in his words, for "entrepreneurship and university ".
The jury, whose members were Mariano Jiménez Pascual of Riquelme, the Instituto de Fomento (INFO), and Andrew Romera, president of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Murcia (AJE), also present at the ceremony, praised the innovation and originality of the work, as well as technical feasibility and economic sustainability.
The president of the Federation of Enterprises in the Region Junior (FEJERM), Natalia López Carrillo, convener of the award, which is endowed with 2,000 euros, stressed that it is the first time this contest Murcia, who was born at the University of Granada for the promotion of junior companies, which are associations of college students, nonprofit, offer companies services related to their studies.
Meanwhile, Ismael Hernandez Novo, President of the Spanish Confederation of Junior Enterprises, stressed that with his recent appointment as a junior company, ALUM is the first in the Merced campus.
The event was closed by the Vice President for Students and Employment, Maribel Sanchez-Mora, who claimed in his speech that the new generations to work hard and do not forget the values ​​and ethics in their daily work.
