IU-Greens the municipality of Murcia has organized a rally in support of the general strike called for next Wednesday to be held tomorrow at 21 am in the cafeteria 'The Shack' in the hamlet of Casillas.
The event, to be presented by the municipal coordinator of IU-Greens, Francisco Muñoz, will feature speeches regional coordinator, José Antonio Pujante, and representatives of CCOO, UGT and The Inter.
It also includes the band's performance Aljada Rock Band, made up of students of the institute 'Aljada' Bacons Bridge, since the act is aimed especially at young people, one of the groups "most affected" by the cuts.
Muñoz has stated that "there is every reason" to participate in the general strike and emphasized including rising unemployment, which affects 54 percent of young people, the execution of evictions and cuts in rights and freedoms.
