Representatives from local groups in the city of Murcia met this morning to finalize the text of the unanimous support of the City Municipal Corporation on the burial of the train tracks.
The agreement, which will be sent to the Ministry of Public Works, has been signed by the 29 councilors of the City of Murcia.
The approved text exposes the following points:
1.
Express a need inalienable bury the train tracks, in the terms established in the agreement signed between the three administrations, dated June 22, 2006.
2.
That the Special Plan del Carmen is the basic development tool in establishing the project.
3.
To reiterate the importance of the arrival of the AVE, established within the municipality of Murcia, without interfering or conditions the project of underground railroad tracks, for which the necessary amendments should be made in basic construction projects, which ensure that the arrival of the AVE in no event occurs at the surface in the section in which it was intended to bury.
4.
Require the Department of Public Works, payment to leave expropriated, the main property of this county's investment is the burial of the train tracks.
