The regional government has given the green light to the extension of the agreement signed between the Ministry of the Presidency and the city of Murcia with the objective of further promoting joint lines of action in providing the service of 112 emergency calls in the township.
Specifically, the agreement will integrate until 2015 the service of emergency calls in the Consistory to coordinate the actions of the human and material resources that have to intervene quickly and effectively to any emergency situation.
Security services systems share information and integrate their communications devices to exchange real-time information on incidents and warnings emergencies received both at 112 and phones the consistory.
Operators of Emergency Coordination Center 112-Murcia introduce all event data in a shared system with the city, which will have two remote centers of command and control, one in the local police station and another in the firehouse.
Similarly, the information received by the Session, by telephone notice, radio or direct knowledge will be put into the shared system.
The intervention in the incidents will occur according to the protocols, which provide the agency or service must act to ensure the life or physical safety of persons or property.
To this end the Ministry provides the technological support necessary to sustain the centers and platforms, equipment, hardware and software to connect to the system of 112-Murcia, as well as initial and ongoing training of municipal staff.
