The Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, attended this week at a second meeting of the Fall Snacks organized so that users and telecare service workers to meet and share experiences.
The almost thirty major who attended took the opportunity to thank the dedication and care workers that serve them.
The Telecare Service currently provides service to a total of 2,664 users.
So far this year have managed a total of 71,835 calls, of which 34,527 were received (48%) were issued and 37,308 (52%)
The home intervention services have been a total of 7402 performances:
- Mobile Unit: 4877 3333 highlighting them than personal health (68%), of which only in 913, 27% was necessary to mobilize the emergency department.
- Coordinators Area: 1943 follow-up, assuming 87% of the total housing stock.
- Technical Department: 582 interventions.
We have also carried out other complementary activities such as lectures Risk Prevention in the Home or the Special Plan of measures against extreme temperatures, which took place from June 1 to September 15, with a total of 9292 calls made from the plant to inform the relevant advice to avoid the effects of high temperatures.
