More than 50 people are participating in the workshops of early stimulation and prevention of health which organized the Department of Equality Policies to improve the relationship between parents and their children.
These free workshops are being developed in Corvera Cultural Center, the Women's Center and the Center Vistabella woman Nora, and are intended for parents, grandparents, etc. dedicated to raising children.
The Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, visited this morning the work being performed twenty participants of the workshop held at the Centre for Women's Vistabella.
The objective of this activity is to provide parents or primary caregivers of children between 0 and 6 years of a space where they can train in aspects of parenting, evolutionary development and education of their children.
They can also raise questions and concerns, actively participating in stimulating the development of children.
Also provide guidelines for non-sexist education.
A parents attend the sessions with the children.
The workshop takes place over eight sessions of one hour each, one day a week, morning.
It is taught by psychologists and specialists in early intervention professionals from health, social services and gender equality.
