The University of Murcia held today Tuesday, October 30, a posthumous homage to Professor Rafael Arana Castillo, Professor of Crystallography and Mineralogy, who died almost a year and a half.
The event, which was chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, was the discovery of a plaque at the Open Air Museum of Rocks of the Region of Murcia, which will bear the name of Professor Rafael Arana Castillo.
The name change is an initiative of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry, Geology and Soil Science, to which belonged the honoree, and has received support from the Department of Chemistry, Center in which imparted his teaching and his research conducted.
