IU has tabled an amendment to the State Budget (PGE) for 2013 by requesting the rehabilitation of the old provincial jail of Murcia and its conversion into a cultural space.
This was announced today the municipal coordinator of training in Murcia, Francisco Muñoz, who underlined that the implementation of the proposal would contribute to job creation and the enhancement of local heritage.
Muñoz has also stressed the importance of social and cultural organizations have a space of this nature before the "shortage" of places that serve to carry out their activities in the town.
Additionally, IU has tabled two amendments to the burial of the railway passing through Murcia and the completion of construction of variant cliques, which prevents the passage of rail in Cenajo swamp.
