The Full Council of Murcia has approved a proposal supported by all Municipal Corporation in manifesting the indispensable necessity of underground railroad tracks in the terms established in the agreement signed between the Ministry of Development, the Regional Government and the Murcia City Council on 22 June 2006.
Also, the House reiterates support for the Special Plan Carmen approved date May 27, 2010 with the favorable votes of the PP and the PSOE.
The proposal provides that the arrival of the AVE to Murcia should not affect in any way the planned burial in the agreement signed today.
In addition, the proposal will move to the Ministry of Public Works and require the undergrounding of the railway is a priority and to include a provision for this purpose in the State budget.
This proposal will be drafted by the groups present at City Hall, PP, PSOE, IU and UPyD and signed by all Councillors of the Corporation.
