Exhibitions, conferences, workshops and fashion shows are some of the free activities on offer
Promote the culture of fashion and graphic design in Murcia is the aim of the festival Murcia Open Design (MMOD) the Micro Festival of Fashion and Graphic Design Foundation has organized Murcia XXI, Design and Fashion, of the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism on 8, 9 and 10 November.
This initiative will foremost figures in the world of fashion as the renowned designer David Delfin, which is the first time you visit Murcia, Ion Fiz, famed creator recognized as one of the most innovative designers of the national scene, the Catalan designer , formed in Berlin, Alba Prat, Spanish exponent of experimental minimalism, the Paula del Vas Murcia, Cibeles and usual first parade in Murcia, and the well-known graphic designers Joaquín Reyes (actor and comic artist), and Edward Albert Folch Fraile.
The Councillor for Sports, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, explained that the festival aims to provide micro murciano public and visitors a wide range of possibilities that will focus on different disciplines.
MMOD has its own personal stamp, differentiator, making it a new event in the region, by combining two disciplines, fashion and graphic design, in four forms of expression: conferences, workshops, exhibitions and parades.
All activities are free.
MMOD use multiple spaces for their activities as Molinos del Rio Stables Hall, where there will be a Micro Market with 22 fashion brands, many of them Murcia, in which you can buy designer clothes at affordable prices.
In this same place exposures exhibit Joaquín Reyes 'Never much for so little', Albert Folch 'Incomplete fragment map of a time', Daniel V.
Bolaño + Ace by Ana Sanchez 'Symmetries', exposure of Alejandro Ceron 'lyrics MMOD in mutation', and workshops Ion Fiz, headgear with Paula del Vas, Alba Prat experimental pattern, textile printing workshop and talk with Titis Clothing workshop with the group Women with bow tie.
Another of the Foundation is to host the conference Cajamurcia David Delfin and Pelayo Diaz, Alex Carrasco conference (Chief Editor V Magazine Spain and Portugal), the encounter with Joaquín Reyes, the screening of a documentary about Balenciaga and conference later Durana Javier Gonzalez, director of the Museum Balenciaga; meeting with Pastor Custodio, editor of World Culture, and Albert Folch conferences and Eduardo del Fraile.
The Hall of Mirrors Romera theater scenario becomes parades made in the style of Parisian atelier.

Admission to all activities is free, first-served basis.

Support young emerging talents Murcia
In this festival could not miss the promotion and support of emerging figures convening On Runway competitions, exhibition of young talents of Spanish fashion, and Emerging Design, exhibition of young emerging designers, which brought together the best students of the fashion design schools in the country, including Murcia.
Within the event, in the graphics area, are also present Murcia talents chosen by the Design Centre of Murcia and a group of professional experts in the region.
Representatives from both disciplines, fashion and graphic design, present their works and creations during the first two days of the Micro Festival.
Awards will be presented on Friday, November 9, at 22:00 pm in Cajamurcia Foundation.
