The University of Murcia, through its Unit for Equality between women and men, participated Saturday in the Permanent Seminar II Agents Equality, organized by the Federation of Professional Associations of Equal Opportunities Agents (FEPAIO).
During the day, members of associations and professional FEPAIO equality agents working in government, public institutions and companies discussed the future of this profession and its recognition and implementation.
The participants, among whom was the director of the Equality Unit of the University of Murcia, Encarna Serna, said that one of the paths to the socio-economic development, especially in times of crisis like the present, past equal opportunities for women and men, it led both public institutions and from companies.
Similarly, the participants of the seminar felt about the value of the profession of agent equal economically sustainable society must allow for full equality in rights and opportunities between men and women.
This seminar, in its second edition, has established itself as meeting place for professionals and promoting and creating personal and professional networks.
