Associations and other municipal entities will have from next week for a new house in the Plaza de Santo Domingo.
The Department of Urban and Infrastructure Quality Workshop School asked rehabilitate this house owned by the City informative.
The information booth, which has dimensions of 182 cm x original 182 cm, now has a red canvas on which is printed the logo of the City
Following the instructions provided by the design department of the municipal architecture, we have proceeded to perform for the students of the School Workshop proceedings relevant to the remodeling of informational kiosk.
In these actions have spoken Locksmith workshops, carpentry and electrical.
The intervention consisted of:
1 - Strengthening and soil structure.
2 - The replacement of the original cover material cover that was degraded by the same new material.
3 - Painting the original coating in white house.
4 - Installing new electrical and lighting in low power.
5 - Exterior cladding of wooden walls in stainless steel circular punch 1 centimeter in diameter.
6 - Installing a deck on a single skinned water collection gutter water.
7 - Making and installation of galvanized iron four pillars finished with metallic aluminum and partially covered with iroko wood
8 - Attaching PVC awnings red on the rooftops.
Thus, the associations that need this house, which is now permanently installed in the Plaza de Santo Domingo, should apply to the service road that has to give approval.
This rehabilitation project of the house has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the Workshop School, part of the Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise, a joint program of training and employment aimed at the inclusion of unemployed under 25 through alternation of qualification work.
The project is training a total of 40 young people for 2 years.
After completing the first six months the formative stage in which charged students a scholarship by the Employment and Training Service, were hired by the City through the modality of training contracts, receiving 75% of the minimum wage first year and 100% over the past six months.
The training included in this Workshop School is on the 7 following specialties:
Gardening and the Environment.
Plumbing, Heating and Solar Thermal.
Masonry and Restoration.
Painting, Stucco and Construction Finishes.
Carpentry and Joinery.
Locksmith and Forge.
Electricity and Renewable Energy.
The last three are the specialties that have intervened in the rehabilitation of the Booth Briefing Santo Domingo.
