The San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia in its commitment to the promotion and support of the sport and the union of educational and sports disciplines held the second edition of the conference of Olympism to be held on Tuesday 23 October at the Temple Jeronimos Monastery.
This time the conference will focus on the recognition and tribute to all athletes in the Region of Murcia Olympic and Paralympic athletes who represented the Spanish delegation at previous Olympic Games in London 2012.
Also many of these elite athletes will attend the event, as the president of the COE and the Madrid 2020 bid, Alejandro Blanco, who will give a lecture.
Also create links with the Olympic bid with the signing of an agreement between UCAM and the same.
With this event the UCAM continues to strengthen its commitment to sport, by combining this discipline to the University and the University remain the sport as a few days ago reaffirmed with Joaquim Blume Trophy achievement, the National Sports Awards, given by the Sports Council "for their work to promote and develop the sport," as claimed in the ruling.
