Dr. Ramon Cugat, director of the Trauma Service at Hospital de Barcelona Chiron, will deliver the opening address of the Second Scientific Meeting of the Fundación García Cugat, to be held on October 27, Saturday, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Murcia.

The underlying theme of the meeting, organized by the group of Veterinary Clinical Analysis of Murcia educational institution, directed by Professor José Joaquín Ceron, biologic therapies are based on the application of growth factors in both humans and animal species.

Cugat Garcia Foundation, composed of a multidisciplinary group of physicians, veterinarians and scientists from various universities and research centers, aims to promote, facilitate and raise funds for biomedical research projects.
