The Platform Citizens for Public Transport has today called for Murcia to participate on Saturday in the demonstration in defense of public transport in La Glorieta exit beginning at 18 hours.
This morning we have developed a joint action between all the organizations that are part of the platform doing a mass distribution of pamphlets among the citizens in the bus stops.
In total, some 40,000 leaflets have been distributed and have stuck around 5,000 posters announcing the mobilization.
The platform consists of a dozen neighborhood organizations, trade union, political and other groups and claims a firm commitment to public transport in the town fair and quality that benefit all Murcia wherever they live ..
In addition, associations organizers expect a strong public response to severe cuts in services and hours that have been made on lines that have left the town isolated villages as Ermita del Rosario, Aljucer, Azarbe Shore, La Cueva and , in general, have been a degradation of service in almost all lines of public transport in all neighborhoods and districts of Murcia.
Similarly, the platform requires a single price for public transport throughout the city, the return of a monthly bonus for all users as the old General UNIBON and immediate implementation of a system between buses and trams.
Quality Council of Public Transport
Moreover, members of the Platform for Public Transport also have referred to the Quality Council led by the City.
The platform is considered a body born without plurality.
