The IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, has called today the mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, to "abandon its diversion tactics" and clarify if there is a date for the burial of the railway it passes through the town.
Tornel recalled that at the last meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company Murcia High Speed, held in July, agreed to a plan for the group stages of urban development and rail in the burial of the railway had no date execution.
"The public wants to know what has been the role of the mayor in defending the interests of the residents in the area of the society in which he holds the position of Vice President," he assured.
It has also held that "the consistent position of our local representative in this society would have been to refuse dramatically with the arrival of an infrastructure such as the AVE without corresponding works underground, instead of bowing to the discretion of the Government of Spain ".
Since the formation indicates that it does not share the arrival of the AVE can benefit the public, "when you are segregating and isolating the neighbors", as "the city building and social cohesion must be above all ".
